Each mission starts with a short strategy and several action rounds. In Port Constructor participants develops and manages a port planning project. The aim is to optimise three equally important value drivers: people, planet and profit. On the basis of a baseline strategy, the participant chooses between a variety of functions to be placed or removed in the port area taking into account how neighbouring functions influence each other, positively or negatively. This is done drawing a road on the map.
