About me

A journey through time

Little helper of Gyro Gearloose, sold to a magazine

Being an inventor

Since I was young I wanted to be an inventor like Gyro Gearloose. I wanted to build flying cars and hoverboards. But when you get older you realize that having a strong imagination isn’t enough, you also have to obey the laws of nature.

Sculpting course

Being an inventor was all about creating something concrete and real, so I started a sculpting course on the age of twelve where I learned to work in clay and stone. After six years my focus shifted to the digital world.

Game Design

In 2006 I started Game Design at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam, where I learned to program, 3D modeling and basic Game Design.

Indie Game Development

In 2010 I started Indie Game Development at NHTV in Breda. This was perfect because I couldn’t choose between Art, Programming and Game Design.

PlusGames

With a friend of mine I started PlusGames in 2013, where we took many projects ranging from 3D modeling to making mobile applications. In our spare time we were making the game FaceWars but we never released it.

Educational Game Developer/Designer

In 2015 I started as a c# programmer to build Educational Games at Inthere. Here I also picked up Game Design. I learned rapid prototyping, experimenting with gameplay ideas and how to balance missions.
